DescriptionDesigned in a striking combination of hand-cut Pennsylvania granite and limestone, this enchanting 20th century masterpiece was envisioned by famed Philadelphia architect Frederick Bissinger and constructed by E.B. Mahoney Builders with fine architectural details rarely seen in post-World War II construction. Its incredible setting is walking distance to the train, exemplary schools, country clubs and golf courses — including the renowned Merion Golf Club — yet offers complete privacy.
The lower levels are all about entertainment. A billiards room, full-scale bar, plus an enormous media room are expertly designed and appointed with incredible finishes and all the details needed for the host or hostess. You can take the party outside to one of the many expertly hardscaped terraces overlooking the exquisite gardens, rolling lawns, or the heated swimming pool and spa. The fully-outfitted pool house even includes a complete outdoor kitchen with barbecue grill and full bar.
Private quarters include a sumptuous master suite with fireplace, sitting area, walk-in closets and spacious bathroom. Two expansive home office spaces reached from the main bedroom overlook the landscaped lawn, pool and gardens.
