Wendi Slaton Anderson is the founding broker of the ROOTS Residential Group. Wendi is the true embodiment of Austin. She can be hippie and yuppie in a single moment, yet she is always sophisticated, savvy, calm, and fiercely focused. She greets all with a warm smile and treats everyone she encounters with respect.
Wendi’s love affair with Austin real estate began over 23 years ago. In that time, she has built a flourishing, 100% referral-based business. She is committed to helping educate, empower, and seamlessly navigate her clients through each transaction. Clients often remark on how her attention to every little detail drives a transaction that is both “easy and fun”.
Her down-to-earth nature, professionalism, unwavering dedication, and masterful negotiation skills consistently land her in the top 1% of Central Texas Realtors. As a result of her integrity, solution-oriented nature, and collaborative approach, Wendi is well-respected amongst her peers.
Wendi loves to learn, and thus her numerous designations and certifications are unparalleled in the industry. Wendi is a Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE), a designation held by less than 1% of licensed Realtors in the country. She is a member of Compass Austin Luxury Advisors, recognized by the Austin Business Journal as the #5 team in 2025, a consecutive Platinum Top 50 Realtor winner, and a 13-year recipient of the Forbes Five Star Real Estate Customer Service Award.
While her credentials and accolades are impressive, it is her character and authenticity that make her the natural choice for many of Austin’s most discerning luxury home buyers and sellers. She genuinely gets excited about each deal and admits to doing a fist pump and celebratory dance when a client finds the right home or perfect buyer.
Wendi has created an iconic culture within the ROOTS Residential Group that is progressive, community-focused, creative, and cool! Give her a call, she'd love to meet for coffee or ice cream!
