Chris' 37-year real estate career has included over 800 commercial and residential sale and lease transactions totaling over $1B. His extensive and background also includes the development of multiple industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, office, business parks and multi-family residential with a total valuation exceeding $500,000,000.
As a principal and developer, Chris's real estate endeavors have included challenging entitlement, zoning and/or physical constraints requiring creative solutions ultimately leading to successful economic returns. Highlights of Chris's career include taking a leadership role in the expansion of the Trammell Crow Company and serving as President of the Charles Dunn Company leading over 100 employees in 9 offices throughout Southern California, San Francisco, San Diego and Phoenix.
His diverse real estate talents and entrepreneurial spirit have allowed him to succeed in a wide variety of organizations and business roles. He prides himself on promoting an enjoyable and productive workplace founded on team and individual goal achievement, but most of all trying to outperform his client's expectations. Chris has received numerous achievement awards, led educational seminars, and been a featured speaker at industry events.
Chris, originally born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, moved with his wife, Melani, from Pasadena to the Santa Ynez Valley in 2016. Their ownership in thoroughbred racehorses initially fueled their interest in moving to the Santa Ynez Valley to raise a ranch full of horses, cows, donkeys, chickens and Labradors. Chris has served on the board of the American Red Cross and is an active member of the Vikings of Solvang charitable organization. In their little free time, Chris and Melani travel as much as possible, hike, play tennis and golf.
