
Meaghan Steele is the Head Auctioneer and Client Liaison at Concierge Auctions. She began auctioneering in 2022 and has led sales spanning luxury real estate, fine and decorative arts, and luxury goods—helping set new auction records for artists including Frida Kahlo. She also auctioned the largest piece of Mars on Earth (NWQ 16788), which sold for $5.3 million in 2025. As Client Liaison, Meaghan supports business opportunities and collaboration between Concierge Auctions, Sotheby’s, and RM Sotheby’s, drawing on deep expertise and long-standing relationships across all three auction houses. Before joining Concierge Auctions, Meaghan spent more than 12 years at Sotheby’s, including five years overseeing the operational execution of the Luxury Division’s auction sales across the Americas. Her work included flagship sale series such as Luxury Week, Geek Week, Book Week, and Sports Week, as well as landmark auctions including Codex Sassoon: The Earliest Most Complete Hebrew Bible (2023); Making Our Nation: Constitutions and Related Documents Sold to Benefit the Dorothy Tapper Goldman Foundation (2021); Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams (2018); Lady Blue Eyes: Property of Barbara and Frank Sinatra (2018); and The Henry Graves Jr. Supercomplication (2014). She also supported major partnership sales, including Holy Grails and MGM Resorts x Sotheby’s, along with sales benefiting the Napa Valley Vintners. Meaghan holds a B.A. with Honors in Art History and Spanish from Wake Forest University. Beyond her professional role, she serves as a charity auctioneer, helping raise funds for nonprofits and organizations nationwide. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, the theater, and time at the beach.
