Each month, we introduce you to the recipients of our Key For Key™ giving program. For every property we sell this year, we have partnered with Giveback Homes to build a new home for a family in need. (Learn more about Key For Key™ and how you can get involved.)We recently closed on four more properties, which means that we are excited to announce four new families who will receive a home under the program.

Paz lives alone. She is 52-years-old and works as a house cleaner in the community, earning about $50/month. Paz is also dedicated to volunteering for the community. She suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder which made school very difficult for her. She could hardly remember anything she taught, like reading or writing. Her disorder often prevents her from working every day. Some days are better than others, and she hopes a safe home will be able to help improve her overall health. Paz's new home is made possible with the sale of 849 East Scenic Drive, which sold on August 3rd in cooperation with our agent partners Warren Backer and Joyce Delery of Engel & Volkers New Orleans.

The structure they’re currently living in has a roof that is about to fall and the wood for the walls is rotten. Norma looks forward to having a house that will keep them safe from the weather. Maria’s son, Yamil, is married to Joseline, and they have two children of their own, Jossel, 4, and Alessandra, 3. Yamil was previously studying engineering at the university, but a bad motorcycle accident resulted in temporary memory loss, emergency surgery, and forced him to drop out of school. The families current home is made out of rotting wood panels and has dirt floors. They can’t wait to have a new home that is strong enough to add more rooms and provide a better life for their family.Maria's new home is made possible with the sale of The Penderyn Estate in Queestown, Maryland, which sold on August 10th in cooperation with our agent partner Cliff Meredith of Meredith Fine Properties.About Our Key for Key™ Giving Model
We believe that every business has a responsibility to make a positive impact on the world. Inspired by TOMS® One For One® program, in partnership with Giveback Homes, our Key for Key™ giving model guarantees that a new home will be built for a family in need for every property we sell this year. Our goal is to transform the lives of families through the empowerment and financial stability that comes with homeownership. Key for Key™ would not be possible without your support. Each donation is made on behalf of the seller, buyer, bidders, and agents, and we invite clients and friends to join us by donating alongside of their corresponding sale, or at ConciergeKeyforKey.com.
