We achieved numerous successes at our Winter Portfolio Sale. The properties placed under contract represent our first sales in England; our first private residence in NYC; a Ritz-Carlton residence in Singer Island, Florida; two coastal properties in Puerto Rico; an oceanfront estate with a guest cottage in St. Croix, USVI; and a private mountain retreat in Telluride, Colorado, which achieved a price above any other recorded sale in that market in 2016.

The monumental event — the most properties we have ever auctioned in one day — attracted more than 50 bidders from multiple U.S. states, Canada, South Africa, Russia, England, and Singapore. Bids were placed in person, via proxy, and via the our Instant Gavel mobile app, which allows bidders to participate in real time from anywhere in the world.

Our annual Winter Portfolio Sale attracted interest from around the world and granted our clients the finality of a contracted sale before the close of the fiscal year. It was thrilling to achieve so many significant milestones, and we look forward to all that’s ahead in 2017.

Higher than any other recorded sale in Telluride in 2016
A private mountain estate centrally located in the heart of world-renowned ski town Telluride at the base of the San Juan Mountains, 300 Elks Park is a third-story condominium penthouse with commanding 360-degree views. The 6,235-square-foot property features limestone flooring reclaimed from castles in Europe, an 1,100-square-foot great room, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a theater room, billiards room, and three outdoor decks.

Our first sale of an NYC townhouse residence
