Well my hat is off to our broker partner, Darlene Letersky, for our upcoming auction in New Canaan, CT. Darlene and our project manager, Tom Banner orchestrated a fantastic event to launch our upcoming auction on Laurel Road.
The event was well attended by the local brokerage community. Concierge Auctions has a cardinal rule that the brokers and agents in the local market are the lifeblood of our success. Chad and I tried to get George to tattoo this on himself, but we couldn’t get him to go for it :)
Overall we had about 100 agents in attendance and the buzz in the market about the auction on October 20th is well underway. Darlene organized a drawing to any broker in attendance at 1:30 and the agent’s all registered in a pool to win $5,000 for guessing the closest to the gavel price at auction.
The winner of the 1:30 drawing was Nancy Joy Wilsnack from Coldwell Banker in Westport, CT. While I was happy to see Nancy Joy win the drawing I am really looking forward to her bringing the next owner of this spectacular property to the auction.
If you have never experienced an estate in New Canaan then you should attend while it is open daily from 1 – 4. The property will be open daily up until the auction. Tom will be there ready to greet you and tour you around the property.
The owners haven’t forgotten a thing when they reconstructed this home. The original house was brought down to the 4 fireplaces and completely rebuilt.
The property was built for entertaining and guests. You will be just as comfortable in the house with 5 people as you would with a 100. Well maybe not 100 if all in the main house, but they can go and stay in the “Fieldhouse” or enjoy the outdoor living spaces.
