In 2022, our team members have gone on two build trips to El Salvador where they worked with our wonderful partners at Giveback Homes™ and TECHO to construct a total of 20 new homes in just a collective 48 hours. Read on to hear more about their personal experiences!
"Going to El Salvador as a part of the Concierge Auctions and Giveback Homes Key For Key® program was a very inspirational experience. As someone who grew up taking basic necessities for granted, such as electricity and safe, clean homes, it's easy for me to over-exaggerate the little problems in life. Our first instinct as people who grew up in first-world countries when we go on a charitable trip is to realize how lucky we are in our current situation and offer our deepest sympathies and support to people who are not as fortunate. What was truly inspirational, however, was despite the poor living conditions, the families of Los Lotes still smiled and offered their best hospitality, giving everything they could as gifts. It's a revelation that no matter where we are in life, there's always something we can do to make an impact and better the lives of others."
