Magazine for the fourth consecutive year, with growth of 72 percent over the last three years. Only a small percentage of companies make the Inc. 5000 for multiple years in a row, and it is thanks to all our dedicated team, clients, partnering agents, and friends that we are one of them.When Chad and I started this company, we saw an opportunity few did, to give agents another tool to deliver control and liquidity for sellers of high-end homes on their timeline. The fact that we’ve surpassed $1 billion in sales and continue to increase our revenue each year is a testament to those who saw our vision and helped us execute.
The auction market is hotter than ever, and our continued recognition on the Inc. 5000 list is evidence that our method for buying and selling the world’s finest properties is desirable, effective and, most importantly, successful.
We continue to rapidly grow year after year thanks to our dedicated team, innovative technology and marketing strategies, and efficient business model. On the technology front, we’ve continued to enhance our marketplace to meet the needs of our clients and agent partners. Now selling over 95% of our properties via our digital bidding platform, it’s clear that our focus on providing a confidential, smooth bidding process is the future of the industry. Clients from around the globe have become more comfortable buying properties online, as they prefer the convenience and transparency that it offers.Since last year’s Inc. 5000 recognition, we’ve continued to expand, adding more and more international auctions in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations and nearly doubling our inventory since the year prior. We’ve grown from 80 auctions in 2015 to 130 in 2016, and we’re on pace to close 150 auctions this year. We also partnered with The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global for a Summer Portfolio Sale, aimed at reaching Chinese buyers via a series of events in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Beijing that allowed us to interface with the growing Chinese market. Within 36 hours and to a pool of 54 bidders, we sold 13 luxury properties in one evening, garnering nearly $60 million in high bids. We’ve also brought on new team members from some of the most prestigious real estate companies to enhance and develop our client services and agent outreach.
The recent accomplishment that is closest to our hearts has been building our Key for Key giving program in partnership with Giveback Homes, which will build a new home for a family in need for every property we sell this year, equating to over 100 homes. Many of the projects will be concentrated in Nicaragua, where the need for safe housing is critical.
