Two mountain homes in Sundance, Utah, successfully sold at No Reserve auctions last week in cooperation with Paul Benson of Engel & Völkers Park City. When closed, the sales will mark the two highest sales in Sundance in the last 5 years.
In cooperation with Benson, in just six weeks, the global exposure generated by Concierge Auctions resulted in a collective 1,800 inquiries, 107 open house tours, and 35 qualified showings. A total of 18 bidders competed to own 8597 N Mandan Road and 2999 E Ridgetop Road on auction day. Both properties were on the market for over 500 days before successfully selling at auction. According to the most recent Concierge Auctions' U.S. Luxury Homes Index, 70% of properties in nearby Park City took over one and a half years to sell.
The sale of the two properties marks the fifth consecutive year the firm has been active in the state, averaging a sale price of $4.96 million.
"Our process performs incredibly well in resort markets like Sundance because we're able to reach beyond the local market and tap into our massive database of high-net-worth buyers who are always looking for special properties," stated Chad Roffers, Chairman of Concierge Auctions. "The buyer for 8597 N Mandan Road was so happy with his purchase that he closed three days after the auction in order to take advantage of the current ski season. This is a huge win for Concierge Auctions and the Sundance market, which wouldn't be possible without the cooperation and collaboration with our agent partner, Paul Benson. We have an excited buyer and satisfied seller, so I'm very proud of what we achieved. The record-breaking price is the icing on the cake."
As part of Concierge Auctions' Key for Key® giving program in partnership with Giveback Homes™, each closing will result in a new home built for a family in need.
