A native of Mexico City, Tere received her real estate training at the Rockwell Institute in Bellevue, WA where she was licensed and became a top selling sales associate within her first year working for John L. Scott. Tere is also a Certified International Property Specialist (C.I.P.S.), a Resort Second Home Property Specialist (R.S.P.S.) a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors) since 1999 and was also the President of AMPI Riviera-Nayarita (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals) for nine years (2004-2012). After only two and a half years as a top producing sales associate working for a local firm, Tere was offered a partnership to open a Prudential California Realty office. Making it the best selling real estate office in Puerto Vallarta. After Prudential Vallarta, Tere founded Via Capitale Vallarta in 2016 and in 2020 joined Carpe Diem Real Estate as Director. ​ Tere’s motto is, “it’s people that make the difference in everything”. ​ On a personal level, Tere has a deep sense of compassion for the neglected cats and dogs of Puerto Vallarta and has rescued, spayed, neutered, given in adoption, relocated more than 500 cats and 2000 dogs over the last 11 years. She works hard to educate the local residents on how to control the population and improve the lives of our local felines and canines.
