Sherry earned a degree in Business with a minor in Art from Jacksonville State
University. She also developed and owned a real estate magazine, Guide to
Homes/Homes Illustrated for 14 years. The magazine grew from a 32-page
black and white news print to a 150-page full color magazine… all from the
basement of her home! She also worked for Mortgage America as a
Loan Officer for five years.
Sherry is married to Raymond Best, a Birmingham native who works as an
independent insurance agent at Best Insurance Agency. Sherry and Raymond
have been married for 36 years. Between the two of them they have three sons,
and a daughter and 7 grandchildren. In their free time they love to travel.
