Originally from the Seattle area, Scott has been a licensed Realtor in Montana since 1983. He has worked on a variety of projects throughout his career ranging from high-end residential to commercial retail development. He is currently the President and a Broker for PureWest Real Estate throughout Montana.
His work has mainly been focused in the Whitefish and Kalispell markets, working on well known residential projects like Monterra, a 158 unit condominium project where he lead the marketing and sales teams resulting in the project selling out. He also was instrumental in the Big Mountain development corporation which developed ski-in/ski-out properties on what is now known as Whitefish Mountain Resort. He has also had a large presence in the selling of Iron Horse properties ranging from lots to cabins and homes. Iron Horse is a private Tom Fazio-designed golf community in Whitefish. He has had a longstanding presence in the high-end residential properties surrounding Whitefish Lake, Whitefish Hills, and many other sought after neighborhoods in the valley. In the Commercial market, he has played the role of lead broker in the development of Mountain View Plaza, and Hutton Ranch Plaza which brought big brands such as Target, Home Depot, Cinemark, and one the largest Wal-Mart Superstores in the state to the valley.
He has also been highly involved in the local community, helping coach football in Whitefish off and on for 20 years, served on the board of Habitat for Humanity, as well as aided in bringing Young Life into the Flathead. He and his wife have been married for over 28 years, have raised three daughters together.
