Rick Hilton is the Chairman of Hilton & Hyland. Co-founded by Hilton in 1993, the Beverly Hills-based luxury residential brokerage firm specializes in select properties throughout Southern California, and is an exclusive affiliate of Luxury Portfolio. A member of the Hilton Hotel family, Hilton has been a groundbreaker in luxury real estate for over three decades. He set the record for brokerage sales in both Malibu as well as Brentwood. Highlights of his remarkable career include Brentwood Country Estates, which he developed as a principal. Located in the prestigious Brentwood section of Los Angeles where home values exceed $40 million, the gated estate community set a precedent for luxury development throughout the region.
Hilton was the key component, acting as agent for both buyer and seller, in the record-breaking $85 million sale of the Candy Spelling estate (the largest residential sale in Los Angeles history). “I am extremely proud of Hilton & Hyland Real Estate and truly believe we are the finest residential brokerage firm in Los Angeles,” he says. Hilton’s business acumen and passion for residential real estate are complemented by his close friendships and personal ties with many of the most creative and influential people around the globe. Hilton and his wife of over thirty years, Kathy, have four children. They are active in social and philanthropic circles in both Los Angeles and New York.
