Punkie Feil and Elizabeth Feil Matthews, a dynamic mother and daughter team, know the Charlottesville/Albemarle Real Estate market. Both are graduates of the University of Virginia. Punkie has lived and worked in this area for over 40 years. Elizabeth, a lifetime native, has started her own family here in Albemarle.
Punkie moved to Charlottesville in 1969, following her marriage to Ralph Feil, a local attorney. As an energetic and creative teacher in Charlottesville City schools for ten years, she was perhaps best known for her role producing and hosting the award winning television program, "Classroom Capers".
After a successful teaching career, Punkie transitioned into real estate to become a leader in the local real estate market for over 30 years.
Elizabeth joined her mother in the real estate business after a successful, seven year career in local commercial insurance sales. In fact, the superb relationship the Loring Woodriff firm had with Elizabeth in this capacity was the beginning of the relationship which led to Elizabeth joining the copany. Elizabeth's professional sales experience and local expertise have contributed largely to the duo's notable sales growth the past two years. Punkie and Elizabeth enjoy working together to bring exceptional, professional service, and insightful perspective to buyers and sellers.
