Meron Langsner

Biography

As a native New Yorker, Meron loves sharing what his city has to offer. He has represented buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and investors in everything from multimillion-dollar luxury homes and multifamily townhouses to commercial developments to first-time renters just arriving in the city. He is a strong advocate for his clients, viewing his role as empowering and educating people to make the best possible moves available to them, including when changing the game entirely if and when necessary. Many clients continue to return to Meron as their own New York story develops.

Prior to joining Cooper & Cooper, Meron taught theatre at prestigious institutions that include Emerson College, Boston University and Tufts University (where he won the Award for Outstanding Contributions to Undergraduate Education). It is this background as an educator that he brings to his real estate work to prepare and guide clients through the complex NYC market.

Meron holds a PhD in Theatre History from Tufts University as well as Masters degrees from both NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and Brandeis University. Additionally, he holds Executive Certificates in Financial Management and Business Law from Cornell University, a Certificate in Software Development from Columbia Engineering and a "Mini-MBA" from the University at Buffalo's School of Management. He did his undergraduate work at Carnegie Mellon and SUNY Buffalo, and is an alumnus of the Audio Podcast Fellowships at Stony Brook University.

Parallel to his life in real estate, Meron is a playwright, scholar and fight choreographer. As a theatrical fight director, Meron has created violence for over 175 productions, tours and films. His plays have been performed around the country and overseas and he is the recipient of numerous awards and residencies. He has been published in outlets ranging from nationally distributed glossy magazines to peer-reviewed academic presses to international dramatic licensors. He is also active in the podcasting space as both a scholar and writer.

A lifelong martial artist, Meron holds a black belt in Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate and is a former competitive fencer and wrestler. He has completed one full marathon and three half-marathons, and also enjoys squash, pickleball, hiking, and cycling.
