Gilbert has been a Vail fixture since 1996, after earning respective Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting and Spanish from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Karen’s accounting background has proven valuable when handling the finance and investment aspects of real estate.
Outside of the broker world, Karen enjoys running, hiking, rafting and camping. She is an avid telemark skier and served as coach of the Vail Mountain School telemark team for the 2009-2012 ski seasons. Karen is also bilingual in Spanish and English.
