I am a long time resident of Harpswell, Maine and feel so fortunate to enjoy all the advantages of the Maine lifestyle. My wife and I (and our very active Jack Russel Terrier “Switch”) can often be found sailing a classic Hinckley Sloop out of Orr's-Bailey Yacht Club. For a more intimate exploration of our varied coastline, we frequently launch kayaks from our tidal dock on Orr’s Island. We are also avid cyclists and in the winter months enjoy Nordic skiing, both skate and classic. Maine is one of the few places that all of these activities can be enjoyed without venturing far from home.
My education includes a degree in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA in Finance from Boston University. I have owned a successful shipping business based in Massachusetts for over 30 years. Putting this venture under remote management 17 years ago gave me the opportunity to relocate to Harpswell and transition full time into coastal real estate brokerage. Being a business owner taught me that having a successful long term relationship with a client is more valuable than any single deal.
My specialty is luxury waterfront property and my extensive experience and knowledge of the Mid-Coast Maine market and trends has fostered trust among the countless clients I have assisted. I look at my relationship with buyers and sellers as a partnership. We collaborate to reach a common goal of success, whether that means the best possible result from a listing or procuring an ideal property for my buyer clients. This approach has lead to strong repeat and referral business.
