Jessica Lonergan has always been a go-getter. A Bay Area native, she grew up watching her father grow Palo-Alto-based Bon Appétit – a food-service management company for on-site restaurants – into a nationwide force, pioneering environmentally sound sourcing policies. That drive to do well and do good has impacted Jessica’s approach to her career.
After securing a degree in Political Science with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies from USC, Jessica went to work for Bon Appétit in sales. In the year 2000, Jessica established Spur Projects with her co-founder and husband Frank Lonergan. Their shared passion for art and experiences lead to the creation of an organization specializing in contemporary art and culturally inspired events and exhibitions. The Lonergans’ collaborations with artists and art institutions around the world energized them and deepened and broadened their connections in the Bay Area and beyond.
A one year project in Hong Kong turned into a glorious nine year stay in one of the most vibrant cities on the planet. It was in Hong Kong that Jessica discovered that she could provide valuable assistance to the underserved expatriate community, helping them navigate the complicated real estate landscape. She soon became a top producer, loving her role as advisor to people from all over the world, helping them find a place to call home in a city that was new to them. The combination of her experience in sales, hospitality, events, and travel found the perfect home for Jessica in residential real estate in an international hot spot.
Returning home to Woodside has been a delight as Jessica reconnects with longtime friends and familiar places. She is thrilled to be able to translate her deep experience in the diverse and competitive Hong Kong housing market to the challenges of buying and selling homes in Silicon Valley. Her global connections make her a resourceful advisor to her clients, wherever their real estate interests may lie.
Jessica currently lives in Woodside with her husband and business partner, Frank. Their two daughters are college students now and Jessica and Frank spend their discretionary time pursuing their shared passion for art, travel, food and wine, and of course, real estate!
