
Gerard Longo is the principal of Madison Estates & Properties (Est. 1953) and has been its driving force since acquiring it in 1992. With more than 30 years of experience and over 7,000 transactions, Mr. Longo is a well-recognized leader in the real estate industry. He has been featured in many leading media outlets, including MSNBC, Squawk Box, Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The New York Post, The Daily News, and The Real Deal. Mr. Longo has held many positions within the real estate industry, including President of the Brooklyn New York MLS, board and officer positions on the Brooklyn Board of Realtors, Staten Island Board of Realtors, and the New York Association of Realtors. Growing up in a real estate family and surrounded by New York City’s most iconic architecture, Mr. Longo’s interest in real estate was almost inevitable. He began his real estate career at 18 while attending college. He then branched out to commercial leasing before acquiring Madison Estates. Mr. Longo graduated from Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York, and continued his education at Bernard M.
