
Gary Gestson grew up in Washington State. He graduated from the University of Maryland (1979) with a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Art. He taught drawing, painting and art education at the University, before venturing into a 20+ year career as an art dealer. He is an accomplished equestrian and horse owner, and has lived in the Washington, DC area for 37 years. In 2002, Gary became a Realtor. In 2006, Gary achieved the status of "#1 Top Producing Agent" in one of the top 10 offices of the largest privately held real estate company (243 offices, 16,000 agents) in America, Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. He is consistently in the top 100 agents company-wide and is honored as one of the top 5% of Realtors in North America. Gary is a certified historic properties specialist and sees enormous similarities between historic homeowners & art devotee's, both understand and relish the intangible nature of things.
