She has connections with specialized contractors throughout Maryland and is the founder of Maryland Historic Homes, which has a devoted audience of buyers always looking for older gems of houses.
A native Marylander, her family was granted the original land grants for what is now known as Chevy Chase and Dulaney Valley. Raised in Baltimore, Donna has spent years on the Eastern shore, and she is very familiar with Southern Maryland all the way north to Havre de Grace. Being a historic home advocate takes her all over the state.
Donna has volunteered in many capacities in her community: as a member of the Junior League of Baltimore, as a parent at the McDonogh School, and as a member of the Mother's Club of Loyola Blakefield. Her work with the Daughters of the American Revolution honors veterans and promotes historic education. As a literacy advocate and holder of a graduate degree in creative writing, she sees literature as a window to the world, and recognizes the correlation of education to the appreciation of fine art and exceptional homes.
