My family and I have been proud to call Central Texas home since moving here in 1988 with the Army. Since that time, the Heart of the Lone Star State has hosted many of our "firsts": Our first home purchase, the birth of our son, the launch of our quarter horse breeding program, and the purchase of our first property investments, to name a few. Last, but not least, while my background was in foreign languages and economics, I found my first career calling: journalism. That path worked with the mobile lifestyle of being an Army wife. But once that chapter ended and we chose to make Central Texas our home, my focus turned to real estate.
