You would be hard-pressed to find a realtor in Fairfield County or New York that brings as unique and polished a set of skills as Dawn Kaam. With over a decade of experience in the

market, Dawn brings passion, skill and integrity to every transaction. Drawing from her achievements in investment, entrepreneurship, and foundation management, Dawn delivers by staying ahead of the curve.

In the role of Vice-Chair and Show Coordinator for the Greater New York Orchid Society, Dawn widely marketed the New York International Orchid Show. She grew attendance from approximately 40,000 to over 100,000 and earned the Orchid Society’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Putting her sales ability to work, she obtained advertising and articles for more than 20 pages in the show booklet and secured sponsorship for the show’s prizes. Fundraising and managing a budget of over $10,000,000 was a natural fit.

In the securities and trading sector, Dawn served on a desk that traded in five languages. Clients welcomed her appreciation of financial protocols and fiduciary responsibility. In the luxury real estate market, winning brokers bring an informed enthusiasm to their sales strategy.

She has earned special awards for the highest sales volume and dollar amount. As a professional, many of her wins came from managing complex transactions and crafting effective communications. An entrepreneur and the creator of a mentoring program at Columbia University, Dawn readily connects with the risks and hopes of her clients. Fluent in Spanish Dawn grew up in Brooklyn, New York and Panama City, Panama. The recipient of several ballet scholarships from Dance Theatre of Harlem, Harkness House for Ballet Arts, and The Joffrey Ballet.

Today, golf, and yoga top her list of pastimes. She collects out-of-print cookbooks and tries her hand at French and Spanish cuisine. She enjoys antiquing for mid-twentieth-century furniture, collects Baccarat crystal and unwinds with the writings of Paulo Coelho, Peter Mayle, Edith Wharton, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Jane Austen and Isabel Allende. Dawn is active in her community and lives in Bethel with her husband of over 30 years, Alain.

She serves on the Board of Barbara’s House, The Junior League of Greenwich, and the First Selectman’s Diversity Advisory Committee in Greenwich CT and Vice President of the Cultural Alliance of Western CT.
