Bill Carter is a leading realtor with Sotheby's International Realty in Westlake Village. This dynamic top producer in his 38 years in real estate has been personally involved in over $1.1 billion in exclusive listings and sales. This makes him a premier realtor of high-end properties from Westlake Village and Hidden Valley/Sherwood to Malibu and the Channel Islands. Bill's areas of expertise are in advertising, marketing, investment, finance, land and buyer and seller relocation of estate properties.
After joining Young Realtors, now Sotheby's International Realty, in 1992 as Executive Vice President, he received Young's highest honors in listing, sales and total production in each of his 14 years with the company. He was honored as Sotheby's International Realty's Top Producer for Ventura County in 2006. This production placed him in the top 2% of all realtors nationally.
Mr. Westlake, as he is known to his clients, is a full-time professional who specializes in estate properties in both Los Angeles and Ventura County. His relationship with buyers and sellers is not only a personal challenge but also a commitment to perform to the best of his ability, which results in the completion of a successful transaction. Bill's motto is that there is no substitute for experience.
As a resident of Westlake Village for over 35 years, Bill enjoys giving back to his community while staying in the forefront of his profession. He has been active in youth athletics and senior concerns, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the YMCA. The true real estate professional, he believes, should provide proficiency in product knowledge along with integrity and enthusiasm.
