Annie Kreder moved from Pennsylvania to the big city to attend New York University's prestigious Communication and Media Studies program. After graduation, Annie had a successful career in television production. Simultaneously, Annie remodeled Twiggy's dilapidated CO-OP on Manhattan's Upper West Side and caught the remodeling bug for good.
Renovating that apartment was a master class in buying, selling, remodeling, refurbishing, restoring, and staging beautiful properties. Restoring the home's historical elegance while incorporating modern elements became her lifelong passion – especially marrying the elements of form and function. Inspired by the heritage properties, Annie worked her way westward, resurrecting a crumbling historic farmhouse in Westport, Connecticut, and moving and converting a barn in Pennsylvania. From there, she remodeled a mountain retreat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and constructed a modern dwelling that pushed aesthetic and architectural boundaries in Boise, Idaho.
Finally, Annie applied her years of experience as a buyer, seller, investor, and general contractor to their current home – a former fort and stagecoach stop constructed in 1872. Annie and her husband Jeff restored the property from the ground up, adding a contemporary glass extension;their passion project is known as the Stone House Ranch.
The secret to Annie's renovation success is merging a home's architectural features with its beautiful surroundings – installing floor-to- ceiling windows brings in Montana's "big sky" and allows owners to enjoy the stunning landscape surrounding them. In many ways, a nod to the French countryside, where lovely old farmhouses live in harmony with the scenery and where Annie found her inspiration many years ago. Ultimately, Annie's years of firsthand experience as a buyer, seller, investor, and general contractor blend elite real estate knowledge and perspective that deliver proven results.
