Graduate of Baylor University in 1971 with a business and finance degree.
In 1981 graduated from SMU’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
His professional career has been evenly divided between the banking industry and the real estate industry.
His banking career began in 1972 primarily with Texas Commerce Bank (now Chase) where he ultimately served as President of Texas Commerce Bank-Las Colinas serving the loan and cash management needs of many of the middle market companies who had moved their operations to this new premier planned development.
In the late 1980’s his interest turned to Real Estate. Later in 2003, with his finance and management background along with a number of successful years in high end real estate sales and leadership roles in Dallas area real estate companies, he was offered the position of General Manager and Founding Partner of Allie Beth Allman & Associates, a new company with great promise. Since that time the company has grown from a handful of agents to over 340, with sales exceeding $1,500,000,000 in 2013. This was a banner year for the single office company selling approximately 50% of all the $1Million+ properties in Dallas County.
In June 2012, Christie's International Real Estate chose the company as their exclusive affiliate for Dallas which enables the agents of Allie Beth Allman & Associates to give their luxury properties exposure worldwide and the Christie's Auction House offers a wide range of services for their high-end clients.
Allie Beth Allman & Associates remains the fastest growing brokerage and the most productive single office in Dallas County. When asked what the key to the company's success was, Duke reported. "That's easy. It's all about the quality of our agents and their unwavering commitment to provide the finest service in the market."
