Our Origin Story
From outsiders to insider to innovators.
Our origin story began when our Co-founders Chad Roffers and Laura Brady met back in 2004.
Building on Chad's experience in Silicon Valley and Laura's time in corporate retail at Neiman Marcus, as a top-producing luxury real estate agent and broker, they came together to create a more efficient method for buying and selling the world's finest homes.
We have since been partially acquired by Sotheby's, the world's premier destination for fine art and luxury goods, and Anywhere Real Estate, Inc. (NYSE: HOUS), the largest full-service residential real estate services company in the United States (Anywhere fuels the productivity of its approximately 190,300 independent sales agents in the U.S. and approximately 140,100 independent sales agents in 117 other countries and territories).
Concierge Auctions continues to operate independently, partnering with real estate agents affiliated with many of the industry's leading brokerages to host luxury auctions for clients.
