A series of glass doors slide from nearly the entire ocean front wall, round the corner into the next, and pocket to reveal one of the most quintessential elements of the Hawaiian way of life:  the lanai.  Offering seamless entertaining and gathering with the great room, kitchen, and dining area, this lanai serves a greater purpose than a simple escape from the sun.

Faithful to Island design, the roof extends to a subtle hip over the lanai and is supported by massive ‘ohi’a posts.

The pool, with its sleek, linear angles and infinity edge seems to flow directly into the ocean as they meet on the horizon.  An open pavilion covers the spa, offering a gentle respite from the sun while allowing cooling breezes.

Great Room

This is truly a home without boundaries, and the great room is its heart.  Encompassing a media area, card table and spacious seating area - and adjacent to the kitchen, dining area and lanai - enjoyment emanates from all of its zones.  

The media area features an elegant sofa seating area, which face an elegant built-in entertainment system with two flanking art niches.  Shoji doors paneled with grass thatching slide to reveal a 60” Pioneer Elite flat screen television, Sony Blu-ray Disc player and Integra media system.

What would typically be referenced as the “formal” seating area is in fact an inviting living space.  In keeping with the remainder of the home, although elegant and sophisticated, it exudes an urge to relax and enjoy.

Master Suite

The master bedroom is a calming space to retreat and relax.  Glass doors offer direct ocean views and access to a private outdoor seating area with two inviting chaise lounge chairs - perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon book, or a sunset cocktail.  

In keeping with the remainder of the home, the master suite’s decor features a soothing palette of neutral colors and natural wood and stone surfaces.  Accents include refreshing white corals, seashells, and white linens.

The master bath offers separate dual vanities, a deep soaking tub with windows to a private, lush garden, a walk-in shower,  adjacent outdoor shower, and spacious closets.

Bungalow Suite

A detached bungalow bedroom suite is accessible via a covered  walkway from the great room and is an ideal offering of privacy towards guests.  Warm tones of orange and brown create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.   

Mahogany-framed sliding glass doors grant access to the suite’s private garden.  Two sizable windows open to allow cross-ventilation of the sweet Hawaiian breezes.  A built-in storage vanity with custom cabinetry and a spacious closet offer ample storage.

The bathroom features a limestone countertop, Kohler sink, walk-in shower with flooring of natural stone in a mosaic installation, and exterior door which opens to a basalt paver path that leads towards an outdoor shower entangled with tropical foliage.

Second Master & Fourth Bedroom Suite

On the opposite side of the great room from the master suite lies another bedroom wing with a second master and fourth bedroom.  

The second master suite features sliding glass doors which open to a private lanai and offer views of the pool and ocean beyond.  With another large window at the foot of the bed, the room is light and bright throughout the day.  The bathroom offers dual vanities with limestone countertops, a walk-in shower, and outdoor shower.

A fourth bedroom suite sits at the front of the house, with an adjacent closet and bathroom with tub/shower combination and outdoor shower.  This room could also be utilized as a study or enclosed media room.
