The Property
In golf, its all about club selection. In real estate, its all about opportunity. Presenting both: Teed up just for you! Located on a premier parkway lot off the 10th hole of the golf course in the private, gated community of Glen Kernan, this elegant residence offers luxurious country club living at its finest. 6,846 square feet. Expansive golf views. An intimate lifestyle where neighbors are friends — mere minutes from the beach and the heart of Jacksonville.

Intimate Country Club Living.
Situated amid the 600 acres of Glen Kernan, shared with only about 200 neighbors, this impeccable estate facilitates an enviable lifestyle — club house activities galore, and an ideal floor plan for at-home entertaining. Upon arrival you are greeted by a brick entry path and manicured landscaping. Elegant columns, iron railings and a barrel tile roof adorn the façade and attract you through the dual front doors and into the expansive entry foyer. Absolutely nothing is overlooked — except the fairway.

Custom Design. Richly Adorned.
The entry foyer is a welcoming and elegant introduction to the home. A custom garden mural is painted on the front wall and sets a soothing tone along with white moldings and travertine floors. Beautiful chandeliers and sconces adorn the walls, while a wrought-iron railing leads up the staircase and to the second floor. A step through to the main living areas reveals a wine cellar to the right.

Timeless Elegance.
Immediately upon passing the wine cellar you will enter into the main living space of the home. Take a right and enter the grand formal living room, or a left into the family room. But the most impressive of all is straight ahead: the formal dining room. Look in awe as the heart of the room —  an awe-inspiring, crystal chandelier gracefully floats from a coffered ceiling, it’s light glistening upon the shiny tile flooring below. Grid windows frame spectacular golf course views, as if a series of paintings perfectly placed.

Gourmet Kitchen.
The heart of the home, the gourmet chef’s kitchen is ideal for entertaining and is outfitted with top-of-the-line amenities that are sure to please even the most discerning of cooks and food enthusiasts alike. Generous custom cabinetry painted in a soothing green flank the walls of the room, which feature openings on several sides to allow for easy flow and access to the other living spaces throughout the home. A substantial center island with matching green granite countertop, pendant lighting, a gas Viking stove with six burners and griddle and bar seating allows for an ample prep and casual breakfast eating space. Additional features including a Sub-zero refrigerator/freezer, a built-in desk area, a charming trios of windows that let in generous natural light and an adjacent bar area with wine cooler complete the space.

Entertaining.
The tasteful floor plan offers multiple areas for entertaining. Ideal for formal gathering, the living room is spacious yet inviting. Floods of natural light pour in through the grid windows above, while the other side of the room reveals the upstairs through three cut-outs adorned with black iron railings. The main structure in the room — the grand fireplace, with it’s intricate carvings of scroll and ivy patterns, commands attention. Pass through the left hallway, and open the French doors to expand the living space into the outdoor courtyard and pool area. On the opposite side, across the hall, a casual family room with plentiful windows, gorgeous hardwood flooring, wood built-ins and a second fireplace awaits for more intimate gathering.

Rest and Relaxation.
Each of the home’s four bedrooms is a luxurious retreat. Incredibly spacious, the master suite features hardwood flooring, a coffered ceiling with recessed and a center pendant lighting, generous crisp white moldings and soothing creamy walls. French doors open to stunning golf course views beyond.

Equipped for a king or queen, the master bathroom spares no expense. At the center of the room is an inviting jetted soaking tub. Surround by travertine tile, the tub seamlessly flows into the flooring below and onto the wall with two stained-glass scroll windows and matching pendant sconces. Separate His and Hers sinks with gorgeous wood back-lit shelving and dressing areas flank either side of the tub.

About The Area.

History. Diversity. Pleasure... Jacksonville.
Situated along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, northeast Florida has been home to a diverse population dating back to the Timuquan Indians around 2000 B.C. Today, towering skyscrapers line the St. Johns River, and Jacksonville is home to three U.S. Navy bases, many major corporations, the Tournament of Players Championship, the Jacksonville Jaguars National Football League team and three minor league sports teams.

Jacksonville’s population exceeds 1 million. Residents of this financial and medical capital of the South enjoy the temperate climate, year-round leisure activities and miles of clean, sparkling beaches. Jacksonville attracts many visitors for surfing, swimming, wind- surfing, fishing and waterskiing.

Jacksonville has a diversified economy that includes service, transportation, medical and insurance industries. The city’s annual employment growth rate is 4.7 percent, while unemployment, at 3.6 percent, is consistently below both state and national levels.

Its housing market is ranked as one of the most affordable in the country. By combining all city services in the late 1960s, when Jacksonville’s citizens voted to consolidate city and county government, taxes and municipal costs were greatly reduced. Also, Florida has no state income tax.

Jacksonville offers five-star restaurants, resorts and other leisure activities. Its geographical location puts it close to many cultural, entertainment and historic centers in both Florida and Georgia. Elegant Savannah and exotic Amelia Island lie to the north, while St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States and home of the new World Golf Village, lies to the south.

Just two and one-half hours away is Orlando, home of the Disney theme parks, Universal Studio and Sea World. Although the median age of Jacksonville’s population is 32.7, the city is ripe with cultural diversity and a historic tradition.

Jacksonville has five regional shopping centers, a zoo, two major museums, eight galleries, a symphony orchestra, and several theaters and nightclubs. The educational system offers nearly 250 public and private schools and 14 regional colleges and universities.

The nationally famous Jacksonville Jazz Festival is held each year in Metropolitan Park, and the well known Jazz Keyboard Competition is held annually at the Florida Theatre.
